After seeing the pictures from Lim Kit Siang's website (click here for the blog entry) I suddenly felt so embarass to be a Malaysian. I can hear the sounds of laughter by foreigners now when they ever saw these two pictures (provided they know how to read Bahasa Malaysia).
They are even celebrating with this result I wonder what will happen if they got up a rank next year. Maybe the government will declare a public holiday to honour UM then.

There is no need to be embarrassed. While it is wrong to 'glorify' it for many obvious reasons, those reasons should NOT include 'aiming to look good to foreigners'.
