Sore loser....

Don't you just hate it when people accuse you of cheating when you are winning them at something? I just played one of the most fustrating game of chess ever in my entire life just now in Yahoo! Games. Here's a compilation of screenshots taken while I was playing that game. (Note: My nick is squallg_99).

First he accused me of using software while playing with him. He later threaten to report me to Yahoo! which I ask him to go ahead since he have no proof what so ever. When he see there is no sign of me leaving he threaten to not move. Fortunately for his stupidity, he did not know there is a 10 minutes per move rule in Yahoo!. Which means, if you do not move within 10 minutes you lose.

Here's a screenshot on how I totally pwned that kid. (pwned = owned)

Sigh~ that's what happen when you let immature people use the internet.

My Ideal Babe (for now)

I was surfing around searching for some wallpapers featuring some pretty girls. No, I am NOT searching for porn wallpapers, which I know that this thought is running in all your little dirty minds right now. Ok back to my story. While I was searching for some japanese stars for my wallpaper I come across the name Rena Tanaka or Tanaka Rena (that's what they call her in Japan). Her fox-like eyes had immediately soften up my heart. Her innocent face nearly killed me as my heart almost turn into liquid. As far as I know, Rena is an actress and a model for several advertisements. From here biography, it seems that she had starred in two dorama (japanese drama) Overtime and GTO. The problem is, how can I miss her cute face while I am watching those 2 shows? Hmmm.... Oh well, who cares, since I got her as my wallpaper I can see her everyday HAHA~

Maybe most of you are wondering how does the girl that had stolen my heart looks like? Here it is for all your viewing pleasure.

Down With Religious Spam!!!!

Just when you think spam is annoying, wait til' you start recieving RELIGIOUS SPAM. Nowadays I have been recieving neverending spams by someone name James Lau. Those spam I get are titled "How to contain your anger", "Know yourself" or some other shit that sounds religious. When you open the mail it is usually message about loving Jesus, don't anger God and stuff like that. No, I am not against religion. Heck, I am a Christian, Roman Catholic to be precise and I believe in God and the Creation theory. What annoys me is how such spams disguised themselves as harmless religious messages. Hell knows, what will happen when you click their links and try to unsuscribe them by sending an e-mail to them. I tried to block them but each time I block them, it sends me spam using another e-mail account.

Gone were the days of "Enlarge You Penis by 6-inches" or "Cum See Me Tonight" porn spams. I don't even recieve those "Click to win a million dollars" spams anymore. All I recieve are just religious spams. It seems that spammers will do anything to make you click on their links. Don't those spammers just quit it? No matter what your title is, may it be asking me to enlarge my family heirloom, which is very large so there is no need for any enlargement, or may it be some female name asking me to lay her tonight, or telling me that I had won a million dollars or telling me that God loves me (as if I don't know!), I am not that stupid to click on your links so stop wasting my email space!!!

Want an example on religious spams? Here are 2 of them here and here.

Sigh~

Seems to me that my bad luck just don't seem to run out. Yes you read it correct, bad luck not good. Everyday there will be some bad luck lurking round the corner. Just last week I fall down from my bicycle, saw HER when I could have easily avoided it if my housemate chose the other route to walk instead of through the FIST building (I prefer to fall down my bicycle ten times than to see her face!! Who is this f'ed up girl? Check my intro and you might end up with a clue or two.), got caught signing the attendance for my housemate and fail 2 mid-term tests.

Just last week I found out there are two lumps on the right side of my neck. Hopefully none of the lumps have potential to be cancerous >_<. I also found that my back is getting worse and worse. I can't sit for too long or it will ache. As for my throat, it seems that it won't heal no matter how regularly I take my medicine.

Just yesterday, my friends told me that I look pale and very unhealthy. Then after looking in the mirror only I realise that I indeed look unhealthy. Sigh~ I wonder WTF had happened to me.

Hopefully by the time I finish surviving these neverending string of bad luck, something good will come along the way.

Thieves~

Dammit! I am damn pissed off now. Just last week a friend of mine, which was an organising committee of an event, asks me to help him write a script for a 30 minute sketch which will be shown in an event. I was overjoy, since I love writing scripts, the longer the better, so I willingly volunteer. Working on that script is not easy because I am trying to push myself to the max. Before that I use to write scripts for no-brainer comedy sketches. So this time I decided to do something meaningful and serious.

So I begin drafting a concept in my brain. The first story I created was kind of dark. It involve suicide and rebeling against ones parents. It took me a one or two hours to finish writing the draft on paper. After finishing the draft I send to my friend. It was later rejected because it does not fulfil the theme of that event which I understand because my script is kind of extreme.

After that I immediately work on another script. Working on the 2nd one is very hard because all of my creative juices on the first one. So I started to think. Finding inspirations after inspirations with games and animes. After nearly 1 and a half day of deep though I finally found an inspiration through one of my favourite action games of all time, Prince of Persia : Warrior Within. This script will involve a little of time travel. I had drawn many possible concepts but were scratched because most of them are too long. After finding the suitable concepts I immediately pen it down on paper.

Just thinking about the concept and penning the whole thing down is two different thing. Penning down I have to think of the dialogues spoken by every character. So I spend another 2 days writing the complete scripts. For most of the time I would just stare blankly in front of the computer screen. After nearly 3 days I finally finished half of the script. So I decided to let my friend have a look at it first. So I send him "part one" of my script. After another 12 hour, I finally finish the whole script and immediately send it to him. After a discussion with the committees he said it is approved. I was of course happy, because this is the hardest script I ever come across. What's the story about you say? The story have a little time travel elements and the main plot is all about the importance of family love.

After the script is approved I ask my friend to let me meet the would-be appointed director and actors of the script. So he say no problem. After a few days he told me who the director is and asked me to contact him. When I was about to contact him, another friend of mine, lets call him J, (which i presume had taken over the directors chair) contacted me and asked me to meet him at 8pm today to discuss the script.

So during 8pm today, I went for the meeting. To my surprise he had asked another guy he brought along and me to take charge of the meeting. What pisses off is he didn't even read a single line of my script and he started to talk about the script as if read it a 100 times. What even pisses me off is when my J said he wanted to do a video instead of acting it live on stage. The guy he brought with him said that my script is hard to do it on video and shit like that and before you know it he said he will do another script and if it got approved they will use the new one instead. Out of a sudden my script which is approved by the committees is thrown aside.

Fuck! Out of a sudden the people who take no part in the creative process are trying to take full creative control. Worse still, they are yet to READ MY SCRIPT while the guy who is suppose to be the director is the only one among them to had read it. I am fuckin' pissed off now~

Zebra Crossings and Malaysian Drivers

Just one week ago the government finally painted a zebra crossing on the main road in front of Emerald Park. I was kinda happy then since the government finally realise that the road is very dangerous. What made me even more happier is the removal of a small portion of the barrier allowing us pedestrians and cyclist to cut through the playground to the main road instead of taking one big round to get there.

After they completed the zebra crossing I realise something. Suddenly my joy seems shortlived. I completely forgotten that MALAYSIAN DRIVERS DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ZEBRA CROSSINGS!!! Its like the zebra crossing is totally non-existant. They won't slow down and let the pedestrians cross the road. NO~ being Malaysian drivers, they will just speed up when they see the zebra crossing hoping that the pedestrians will not have a chance to cross the road, if they did slow down and let the pedestrians to cross the drivers behind them will hurl insults at them (in the privacy of their own cars of course).

Oh well, that's Malaysian drivers for you. See how unique we are from foreigners. No wonder we are all thought how unique Malaysian culture is during our time in government schools.

Chinese New Year memories.........

Chinese New Year had come and gone. For today's blog entry, I will let the pictures do all the talking. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.

For the first time ever since everyone had moved in, we finally gathered together and have a photography session. As you can see everyone is taking different New Year auspicious items on their hands.

Us, the 8 crazy housemates pose on the stairs along with our two big "4-flat pineapples".

That's me posing with Chinese couplets.

Me and Yu Xin trying to "borrow" the 4-flat pineapples luck. (Hopefully it won't divide the luck among us and make both our CGPA into 2.0 >_<)
Just in case one pineapple's power is not enough, I am holding TWO pineapples.

Last but not least, the most memorable thing about this New Year is being part of the 8th Chinese Language Society's Organising Family (I replace Committee with Family since it sounded more close).

Snoop squads? WTF?

As I was surfing around Jeffrey Ooi's blog, a great blogger by the way, I come upon this particular blog entry about how the Chief Minister of Melaka (which unfortunately also happens to be the UMNO vice-president), Ali Rustam, had launch a squad to, now listen carefully now (to make sure none of you guys miss what I am trying to say, yours truly had enlarge and bold the font for u guys), snoop on couples!!!!

So being the curious me, I click on the link that is provided in the blog entry and it linked me to one of The Sun's article here .
For those who are lazy to read the article that I have took the trouble to link, the article is about a discussion that will be scheduled to discuss about this snoop squad. So to get more details on this whole affair I do a quick search on The Sun's website and two search results caught my eye. One is an editorial by The Sun condemning the squad which is approved by the Vice-president of UMNO. What really caught my attention is this particular news article. It seems here that PAS opposes this movement. Yes people, you have heard it correct, PAS the party which is equivilant to Taliban in terms of religious beliefs had condemn this privacy-invading squad! I can't believe it, for once I actually agreed with PAS! You know that something is definitely not right with your decision when PAS is making perfect sense when opposing something endorse by the government.

As for me I think that the reason why Ali Rustam is trying to attract people's attention is maybe he wants to distract us from talking about his 1 million publicly funded around the world trip which have the word "corruption" written all over it. I wonder what's next in his "distract-the-people-from-talking-about-my-scandal" plot?

Stop abusing the power of the internet!!!

Sometimes I really think that most of the internet users I know are really naive. They tend to believe in rumours and spread it before even confirming the credibility of it. Just look at this message which had been circulating in my Yahoo! Messenger since yesterday:

"To All Emerald Park residents (girls): A rape case has happened in front of our EP front gate. She was with her bf, n a car stopped, pushed her bf down n took her into the car(full with boys). The guard only managed to shout at the moving car. Please be alert when walking on the street. Try to bring more frens when going out at night or even at day light. Please forward... to inform them of the danger"

This is really annoying, does anyone actually take the time to confirm this rumour before passing it around? What's worse there is no news in the newspaper about that. Such rumours only will cause unneccesary fear among the Emerald Park residents. Why can't people stop being so naive for once and stop believing in rumours that are not confirmed. To make matters even worse, there are another group of people trying to ruin their friend's reputation by posting this message:

"**censored** Bachelor of Information Technology(Honours)(Business Information System) beta year student"

After a short while another message starts circulating in Yahoo! Messenger:

"About the msg about **insert victim's name** is the suspect of the EP rape case is NOT TRUE!! HE JZ PLAY BY OTHERS, PLZ FORWARD, GOD BLESS HIM.........."

To those who tried to sabotage their friend's reputation, hope you guys burn in hell for what you guys did. It might started out as an innocent practical joke, but the damage had definitely had been done to your innocent friend. To those who started the first rumour and if it happened to be false, hope you guys burn in hell over and over again for inciting fear in every naive MMUians hearts!

So people, don't be so naive for once and please go confirm any rumours before you guys start spreading it around. Hopefully the next message circulating my Yahoo Messenger will not be like these:

  1. "Justin is gay! Pls fwd msg"
  2. "Justin is caught sexually harassing females and is caught yesterday by the security!"
